is an online repository of photographs, videos and conversations, about the current making of architecture in large and rapidly expanding cities.

Presented as non exhaustive capture of the present, they intend to depict broad urban imaginaries and collective narratives that shape places of living today. They also look at how local contexts influence and define architectural construction details and methods, within the general homogenization of built environments.

whatwehave(dot)co aims to become a wide-ranging database tool to describe the diverse territories we transform and inhabit. It does not only display what we currently have, but also what we hold dear – or not – and what really matters to our local lives, as an attempt to encounter possible ways architecture can embody the act of relocalizing the global.
